About
Carry your faith differently.
Baraka means blessing, a quiet intention behind everything you carry.
BarakaBag was created for people who move through busy days with purpose, faith, and routine woven together. Whether you are commuting to work, travelling between cities, studying at university, or moving from one part of your day to the next, finding a clean, convenient, and calm place to pray is not always easy.
The prayer mat is deeply intentional. Yet in everyday life, it is often carried separately, folded into another bag, or treated as an extra item to manage.
We wanted to change that.
BarakaBag combines a functional everyday bag with an integrated foldable prayer mat, so your essentials and your prayer space move with you in one refined carry system.
Instead of adding more clutter to your routine, BarakaBag is designed to simplify it.
A place for your laptop.
A place for your daily essentials.
A place for your prayer mat.
A place for clarity.
Designed for modern movement
BarakaBag was created for people whose faith is part of daily life, not separate from it.
From morning prayer to work mode, from campus to airport, from errands to travel, the bag is built to transition with you. Every detail is designed to support ease, organisation, and peace of mind, so you can move through your day without feeling like your routine is working against you.
Because when everything has its place, your mind does too.
The idea behind the bag
The inspiration began with a simple observation: the things we carry every day should work beautifully with the way we actually live.
For many people, prayer is part of that everyday rhythm. But the objects that support prayer are often not designed around modern mobility. Mats are carried separately, tucked away awkwardly, or left behind because there simply is not enough space.
BarakaBag was developed to solve that experience.
By transforming the prayer mat into part of the bag itself, we created a carry system that feels practical, intentional, and refined. It is not just a bag with storage. It is a bag designed around a daily ritual.
A note from the founder
BarakaBag was created from the same design philosophy behind BelaBag: the belief that the things we carry every day should work beautifully with the way we actually live.
For BarakaBag, that meant designing around a daily act of faith. The prayer mat should not feel like an extra thing to carry, forget, or fit awkwardly into another bag. It should move with you, cleanly, simply, and intentionally.
The idea builds on years of exploring mat-based carry systems, beginning with the development of BelaBag. That journey started with a simple problem: people were carrying mats separately, awkwardly, or as an afterthought, even though those mats were central to their routines. The same insight applies here. For prayer, travel, work, and daily movement, the mat should be part of the system, not an inconvenience added on top of it.
BarakaBag is part of a broader vision for thoughtful, mat-based living: products that support movement, travel, wellness, worship, and modern daily routines.
We hope you join us on that journey.

Sustainability & Responsibility
Thoughtful materials. Responsible production.
Sustainability and ethical production are important parts of our design process. We work with manufacturing and material partners who value responsible sourcing, balanced working conditions, and long-term product quality.
Where possible, we prioritise durable and lower-impact materials such as cork, jute, recycled polyester, and cotton canvas. These materials help reduce reliance on virgin resources while supporting a more circular approach to product development.
Fair labour practices
We aim to work with partners who maintain fair and responsible working environments. Many of our manufacturing partners operate structured working hours, provide breaks, and ensure fair wages, including overtime pay where required.
Reducing waste
Responsible production also means thinking about what happens to excess materials. Where possible, our partners reuse fabric and material scraps to create smaller accessory items, helping reduce production waste. Materials that cannot be repurposed are handled responsibly to minimise environmental impact.
A promise to move better
BarakaBag is built on a simple belief: the things we carry should support the way we live.
That means designing products with care, choosing materials thoughtfully, and creating carry systems that make daily life feel more organised, intentional, and grounded.
Because what you carry matters.
And how you carry it matters too.
